Swiss Machining PARAPHRASE

Swiss type automatic lathe refers to the machining of mass production of high-precision cylindrical parts. Parts processed from Swiss lathes usually have very fine features, called fine features. Swiss lathes are similar to CNC lathes or CNC lathe centers, but only perform a small range of machining, but they are usually faster and more accurate than traditional CNC lathes.
Materials that can be machined with Swiss lathes include stainless steel, titanium alloys, brass, aluminum alloys, platinum and iridium alloys.

Screw machines (also known as Swiss style or Swiss type) are designed to be extremely proficient for the manufacturing of small parts and also for long, slender parts which would deflect or vibrate when turning on a lathe. They are also very fast and extremely accurate while holding ultra tight tolerances. PTJ Shop produces ultra precision machined parts using the DMG/Mori Seiki Sprint 20 line of machines which feature an 8th axis. Our high tech CNC Swiss turn machines can accommodate part lengths of up to 36″, 2.8″ in diameter and meet tight tolerances of +/- .0001″.
